Welcome!
Hello from the Riley family, operators of historic Los Rios Rancho and Riley's Frontier Events.
We hope you take a moment to view online what we do up here in the beautiful hills of Oak Glen; from farming apples; to hosting and performing for private and public special themed events; to making apple products like our high top apple pies; and of course—fresh pressed apple cider.  Every year we see tens of thousands of visitors eager to experience rural farm life and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in our u-pick apple orchards,  frontier-life tours and The Wildlands Conservancy’s multiple hiking  trails. Some of our activities are seasonal and others occur year round.
APPLES are HERE !
Believe it or not, our early varieties of apples are comin'-on. Gravenstein's (Grandma's favorite pie apple) are ready to pick. These tart/sweet, super juicy apple are great for eating now and always fantastic for baking and juicing (our pressing on July 30 will consist of a single variety--the Gravensteins we are picking today!). U-pick patch is open and you can take yer pick from the the very best, beginning this Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

BERRIES, BERRIES, BERRIES
There's yet another reason to visit Rileys at Los Rios this weekend - The vines are bursting with an incredibly huge crop of u-pick berries (plenty of juicy red raspberries & strawberries) ! U-pick patch is open and you can take yer pick from the vines Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 4pm 'til the first frost of the Fall.

Saturday Aug 2nd. Come for the day and stay for the Dinner
Free Daytime Admission! (small fee for some of the activities)

Come get a taste of what life was like in the days of the Old (and continuing) West. this weekend, Saturday from 10am to 5pm. We will have activities and crafts for the kids, horse-drawn wagon rides and period vendors demonstrating (and selling) their wares and informing folks like you about a time gone by.

We are currently immerserd in the activities of Summer. The apples are beginning to grow, and the heat willl bring out their deliciously sweet flavors. While the orchards need a bit less attention during this time of year, we enjoy a bit of relaxation with , "Chuck wagon Supper" and other such summertime events. It is the season for picknicking and pie eating. We are currently open 10 to 5, five days a week (Closed Monday & Tuesday) and open most holidays.  Have a look at our calendar for our public events. We hope you visit us soon and see why we say that "We Make History Everyday."
