Our experience in organizing and hosting group activities in a historical setting will help insure your special day is a fantastic celebration - one to be remembered by your guests for decades to come.
Give your group an evening to remember by booking your event with us! They’ll be treated to a good old-fashioned family-style meal, served up in the casual, rustic setting of our packing house. Click here for package options. We offer several country-style menu options, with something to suit every taste. For added fun, your supper can include such extras as live down-home music performed by our own Rileys Mountaineers, an old-fashioned hoedown where guests can try their hands (and feet!) at old-time waltzes, reels, squares, and two-steps, or tractor-drawn hayride tours through our scenic orchards. Lunch with the Mountaineers
March through August we’ll be offering a new treat for groups looking to spend an afternoon in the country. Enjoy a luncheon in our packing shed, along with a good old-fashioned gospel sing-along. Lift up your voice in song as we lead you through traditional gospel songs we’ll supply the hymnals, you supply the joyful noise.
Menu includes starters (freshly popped popcorn and chips & salsa), BBQ chicken, red potato salad, cowboy beans, biscuit with apple butter, plus a slice of apple pie or crisp for dessert. Drinks include apple cider, coffee, iced tea and iced water.
Gospel Sing luncheons are $19.50 per person, with a 35-person minimum.
Scaling the Hay Bale
Looking for a little cowboy flavor for your next event? Our authentic 1880s chuck wagon is available both on and off site, and we’ll serve up a real cowboy supper, fresh off the tailgate. Menus can include tasty BBQ tri-tip or chicken, trail beans, corn on the cob, and sourdough biscuits, washed down with lemonade, iced tea, or campfire coffee. For dessert, there's Dutch oven cobbler or crisp. Call or write us, and see if we can’t roll out the wagon for your next event!
Our catering services can bring a little down-home to your home, office, school, church, or whatever gathering you have in mind. We can serve your hungry guests the finest in country fare, cooked up right in our own kitchen. All sorts of menu options are available; we’ve got something to tickle every taste bud. And we’ll do the dishes, too!
