About the Band

Rileys Mountaineers has been playing old-timey, western, classic country and bluegrass music throughout the West for 20 years. While hoedowns and private events at the family’s orchard and farm setting in Oak Glen provide the anchor for the string band, traveling away from the farm is common for the largely family group; the band has performed for countless political dignitaries, service and benefit groups, at bluegrass festivals and community concerts, and at large-scale events and venues such as the Huck Finn Jubilee, The Huntington Library, End of Trail (SASS), and Rancho Los Alamitos. The Mountaineers have entertained thousands at home and abroad with their special variety of homespun traditional American music and song.
